Villa Tulia in Paradise

Villa Tulia is located right next to the beach, with coconuts palms around, you are just 10 steps from the ocean. We have built Villa Tulia for ourselves. The house reflects our lifestyle and passion for Africa. It’s built in Zanzibari style from the exotic wood terrace to the Makuti thatched roof.  Inside you’ll find canvas from Mali, carved pieces of furniture from Congo, and baskets from Kenya. We wanted a place to rest, a hideaway from the chaos of daily life, the office, and the crowds. We sought simplicity, nature and comfort. A place to relax and forget about stress. We take long walks on the beach and wade in the ocean, enjoy the flavour of local fruit and vegetables, and wake up to the sound of women singing as they collect seaweed.

At Villa Tulia, we’ve substituted breeze for air conditioning, and books for TV.  We wanted to create a space where we can feel free and safe. We love having an open view of the ocean.

Above all, we always wanted to share our passion with other people. Villa Tulia is our solution for family reunions or spending time with friends. We love cooking and eating together. We wanted our kitchen to have the ocean view and enough space on the terrace to accommodate big table where we could gather around and enjoy Swahili cuisine.
The three-bedroom house has two double beds and a twin, all with mosquito nets. Guests will find en-suite bathrooms (shower + WC in one), and sheets and towels are provided.
In the kitchen you’ll find all you need to experiment with Swahili cuisine.
But, if you want, half – board catering can be arranged.

You may see the occasional tourist or local pass by, but the beach is never busy. If it is too hot, you can swim in your private pool.unnamed-3

You can enjoy the ocean view as you wine and dine on the large terrace.
If you (somehow) tired of the ocean view and breeze, you can relax on comfy furniture indoors.
masai paw

In order to make our guests feel safe and protected, Villa Tulia has Masai security keeping discreet watch over the property. Still, it is  advisable to keep your belongings locked indoors when you go out. On the off chance the power goes out, the property has its own generator, which is maintained by our staff.
